Dr. Jenny Vokral

Dr. Jenny Vokral earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University, completing her clinical training at the University of Florida in 2014.

She practiced in North Jersey for several years before purchasing Colonial Animal Hospital in December 2022 and then Matawan Animal Hospital in 2025. Dr. Vokral has a strong clinical interest in pain management and is passionate about improving quality of life for her patients through a comprehensive, multimodal approach to care. She incorporates advanced therapies such as therapeutic laser and has advanced training in veterinary acupuncture, allowing her to offer integrative treatment options for chronic pain, mobility issues, and overall wellness.

Dr. Vokral is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans that combine traditional medicine with integrative techniques, helping pets live more comfortable and active lives.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their pets—CJ, their cat, and Archie, their American Staffordshire Terrier. In her free time, she loves listening to music, attending concerts, painting, and drawing.
